Characters importance on Rumble Fish movie.

Rusty James: He was the icon of the movie. As the first character he was the person which the movie moves around. Also I think he was really important because the story took place from his own personal life.

The Motorcycle Boy: He also was a really important character on the movie. He was the “hero” the image to follow for Rusty. Furthermore he was the one who always took care of Rusty in difficult situations. He taught Rusty how to be free because Rusty was made for being a free spirit.

Steve Hays: Well, Steve in my opinion was another important character because apart from being Rusty’s Friend he enters to the story and gives the mood of …Ok what’s going on here?... He was like the “good” part that Rusty never had. And also he was the only one for me that faced the Motorcycle Boy, because he suspected him and did not really believe in what T.M.B. represented to Rusty.

Patty: Well, she was not so important I think because she was Rusty’s girlfriend in turn. Also, Rusty did not care very much about their relationship which means that although she was necessary for the story, she did not have so much importance at the end when Rusty decided to leave her alone and not to find her anymore.

Cassandra: I think she was not really important in the movie because the only thing that I got from her was that she was a little bit crazy. She was M.C.B.’s chick but she did not have very much participation on the movie.

Patterson: He was important in the way he acted in order to be the bad guy, the antagonist. From the very beginning he wanted to kill M.C.B. because they had an old story in the streets and he did not want to have another Rumble Fish on his domain.

Smokey: I think he was not really important for the movie. The only cruel thing that he did was the cheating on Rusty James. He in a way arranged the situation in order to separate Rusty form Patty, because he liked her.

Rusty's parents: In a way they were important because if we can understand why Rusty James life was just like that it is because they had problems as a couple and then they separated. They were the ones who in part made Rusty James life what it was, a really difficult but interesting life in which the strongest will survive.

Everyone's a critic : Paulina's Blog.

First of all, I think that your blog is weak on features. For example, the first poor thing on your blog is the title. If you can manage that it will be more interesting in order to catch the classmates’ attention. As a suggestion you may try to look up for a catchy title in such a way that all of us can see different things and maybe would comment you on it.

Secondly, your blog does not have any kind of interesting links but the ones we have checked out already. I think it is important to have a blog in which you can find not just what you have done but maybe some links connected with education, music, movie trailers, websites you like personally, even if you have Facebook you can link it to your blog.

Finally, as a recommendation you might also check if you can put the pictures you leave out in the previous posts.

To sum up, although you have done a very good job in terms of writing and thinking and actually that is your best thing on your blog, you might try to fix these things up and I swear I’ll be the first one in check it out and comment you.

Sincerely yours

Pablo Valdes R.

my bad work experience

First of all, My mind is not full of ideas to write about. So I found a topic (not very interesting for you, I think) to do my homework.

As many of you know, I did one of my work experiences in a school, where, I had to stay almost the whole day in a tiny room. Moreover, I couldn’t went to the classrooms because my guide teacher didn’t allow me. Even more, I couldn’t be near of the students in the breaks, because the principal was almost every time looking what I was doing. That experience was so bad, even because the teacher after two months was too disagreeable with me. She said that I wasn’t motivated but how I was gonna be motivated if a couldn’t be in the classroom while she was giving the lesson?.

So what do you think about that?

Paulina's correction.

A Very Disappointing Work Experience.

First of all, my mind was not full of ideas to write about something interesting. So, I found a topic (not very interesting for you, I think) to do my homework.

What is more, I even couldn’t be near of the students in the breaks because the principal was observing what I was doing all the time.

That experience was terrible bad also because the teacher, after two months of being working with me, she started to behave very disagreeable saying that I wasn’t motivated at all and I thought how I was going to be motivated if a couldn’t be in the classrooms working with the students.

So what do you think about that?

A person who I would like to talk to…

One of the people that I’d like to meet with or talk to is definitely Plato. I’d like to talk to him because I believe he was such an inspiring model for thinking and knowledge. Also, because when I knew him through Philosophy I thought that he was a very intelligent person and I have to recognize that I fell in love with his books and his way of thinking. Although, many people today think that to have studied his thoughts on “the immortality of souls”, “the Republic”, or the very famous but unknowing in meaning “Cave Allegory”, they were a waste of time at all. However, in my personal opinion, his philosophy has been a huge influence in culture and way of thinking through history.

Well, I’d like to talk about how he reached that level of thinking. Also, where did he get their inspiration from and that if he can explain to me what the true meaning behind the Cave Allegory was. Moreover, I’d like to tell him about our current lives and our poor (not in general) exercises on Spirituality. I think in some way we have lost that part of our lives and that is why I’d like if he could give me some kind of advice in order to see things clearer and maybe enlighten myself.
