Smithers is a 70 years old and tells his story in first person. He declares that the past two decades he has spent a lot of money on prostitutes, which has brought to him lots of troubles with his currently wife. Also, on the business field he has made very bad decisions and as a result of that he is in a very difficult situation with banks and his family. His children have blamed on him because of his behaviour arguing that they wanted to inherit the fortune but because of his irresponsible actions they will not going to inherit nothing but debts.
Smithers is already conscious that he needs medical help but what he does not know is how this story will end.
This story seems to be a very sad one, but analysing it make us think on how is it possible that a man who had a very respectful image and a growing business is now in a living hell?
Well, the facts are clear. Sometimes overkill could be very dangerous. And also, this story brings to our minds the well-known question ---
Money = Happiness?

We never know when our lifes are going to change, we must be prepare for bad times, always!!!
Maybe all what he needed was love! tutututu...and he did not have any.
This story tries to teach us in some way how we should be responsibles for our lives all the time, not to lose the guarantees that we already have.
