Join the Blog Revolution.

I always have believed that the use of resources in which people can express themselves, has been a very positive idea. There are many advantages in the way you use these resources. For example, the use of a blog as part of a course in which all the people involved can express what they think or believe is important and meaningful. Why? Because it allows you to be creative in what you write and put in words what you have experience in life or even have a close relationship between your teacher and classmates. Therefore, with a simple blog you can create a community in where everyone’s opinion is fundamental for the process of learning.

According to what I have experienced the use of the blog has been a very useful tool for me. As I said before it permits me to be regularly communicating and expressing ideas, which is one of my favorite thing. Furthermore and going directly to the point on the learning of English, it has been central in the accuracy of getting more and more knowledge and practice in all the skills involved in the development and awareness of this language. It also have allowed me to get different opinions and comments and what is important to have feedback from my classmate encouraging me to perfect and learn more about my own process of learning.

On the other corner if we have to mention some disadvantages that the use of a blog may have, we can say for sure that the communication that takes place on it is not directly. Perhaps it may affect the way we communicate because we are not giving direct feedback and maybe you can misunderstand the advices that the teacher or a classmates gives you. Also, it could go against communication because of the cultural changes that we have been having since the beginning of the post modern era, which try to hold people outside or “alienated” from rest and not allowing you to participate actively in the decisions that we have to make as conscious people we are.

Finally, the use of the blog in our course has been a very interesting and exciting from the point of view of sharing with others. Although, I believe we have to be aware of the changes that technology tries to impose us in the way we communicate. Hopefully, in the way we more learn how to manage those changes the more positive will be our processes of learning and understanding communication and also we as the creators of that reality.

My Least Favorite School Subject

First of all I did not like any subject that I had at school because I was sort of Rusty James-like kid (Just kidding) = [).

To be honest, I never really had a least favorite school subject. Although, I can say for sure that there were some of them that I disliked in a way, but it was because they were quite difficult for me. For instance the Art subject which I studied from elementary to tenth grade in high school, it was a big headache because I have never consider myself good at drawing or doing manual things. Another example is math, but it was not a subject that I hated at all, I mean there were some situations in which the teacher delivered some activities where we had to do a lot of exercises and I really got bored doing that.
